About Me

My photo
When i left school back then i was lucky enough to enroll on an engineering apprenticeship. I think this lead me in good stead. I was always one of those children that pulled things apart but actually put them back together again. My first engine given to me at the age of Seven, a Triang Princess Elizabeth. The rest as they say is History. Later in life i got back in to Model Railways and started building Pine Road. This could lead anywhere so i hope you enjoy my Blog.

Adams T1 part 12

We have moved on a bit with the Adams T1.
All the lining is complete.
Some of the cab detail has been done.
These are parts supplied from South Eastern Finecast for the Class 02. I have found that the two loco's are very similar.
Water filler lids have been fitted.
The rear lining has been completed, numbered and a screw link coupling fitted. I usually do this on the opposite end that the Sprat & Winkle coupling is fitted otherwise it looks a bit bare.
Also the smoke dart has been fitted.
A matt coat to seal everything in, buffers, the backhead and dials and the copper band just behind the smoke box, also the roof, the extra seats in the cab, are all that is needed to complete.
Perhaps by the end of the week, body will meet chassis on a permanant bassis. Yeah!
