About Me

My photo
When i left school back then i was lucky enough to enroll on an engineering apprenticeship. I think this lead me in good stead. I was always one of those children that pulled things apart but actually put them back together again. My first engine given to me at the age of Seven, a Triang Princess Elizabeth. The rest as they say is History. Later in life i got back in to Model Railways and started building Pine Road. This could lead anywhere so i hope you enjoy my Blog.

New passenger for your layout

The other night, i was trolling through eBay looking for some of those cheap figures for my Thumper Class 205 and my Class 121 DMU  both from Bachmann when i stumbled across these new figures from Miniatures by Design.

If you are doing a Modern image layout then these are for you. Starting from £1.99 each, unpainted, they have a superb amount of detail. Measuring at around a scale 5' 9" for the Females and 6'2" for the males, from my point of view, a shade on the tall side. I think there are close to 100 figures that can be bought and the are also available in 0 gauge. I would prefer a few good quality ones rather than a load of cheap figures they are not a bad price. The seller goes by the name of 'pmmstudio' his link is below.

I would like to point out that i have no connection with them at all, i just found them rather good. I would also like to comment on the very quick service as i ordered them at 1:15pm on a Wednesday and they arrived, through the post at 9:30 the following morning.

Not that my photography skills are great but you get the idea. There are a lot of far better photographs on his website.
