About Me

My photo
When i left school back then i was lucky enough to enroll on an engineering apprenticeship. I think this lead me in good stead. I was always one of those children that pulled things apart but actually put them back together again. My first engine given to me at the age of Seven, a Triang Princess Elizabeth. The rest as they say is History. Later in life i got back in to Model Railways and started building Pine Road. This could lead anywhere so i hope you enjoy my Blog.

King Harry's coaches

For something completely different,
Or as i hinted in a previous post, a trip to the DARK SIDE.
King Harry's Coaches.
Have a look, you can hire these out.
Anyway, back to the story.
My Boss use to work on these when he left school and he had organised a trip on one.
I was asked if i could paint a model of a harrington Cavalier in the King's Harry livery.
I was duly presented with one of these
and a photo
Well, this is the result
I blame the camera but the green is a lot darker in real life.

I used some 'Crafty craft' printable transfer paper for the logo on the back but its only as good as your printer. Trying to print something that's 14mm x 6mm, it's small
